The Sexto V by Shadow Silencers is a multi-caliber silencer engineered to be one of the most versatile and rugged options on the market. Its interchangeable baffle system includes two distinct baffle geometries—three high-angle baffles (one constructed from 6Al-4V titanium) and three low-angle baffles—so users can tune sound and gas flow to suit ammunition and firearm preferences. Combined with our proprietary blast-chamber design, the Sexto V delivers a rugged, tunable, and quiet shooting experience. Out of the box it supports .22 through 9 mm, plus .223/5.56 and 300 blackout sub-sonic rounds. All Sexto silencers run up to 35% cooler than comparable products. At just over 8 inches long, 9.4 oz (full stack), and 1 3/8" outside diameter, the Sexto V is machined from 7075 billet aluminum and 6Al-4V titanium and finished mil-spec Type III hard anodized inside and out—comfortable across rifle and pistol platforms and built to withstand the toughest conditions.
Finishes
Milspec 3 Black Hard Anodized
The Milspec 3 finish on this may well be one of the most important features and deserves a bit more explanation. The aluminum is hard coat anodized (both inside and out), which increases wear and corrosion resistance, increases surface hardness, increases the thermal properties of the aluminum and improves the ability of the metal to retain lubricants. In other words, it changes the surface to this incredibly hard metal without increasing weight. Durable enough for our military. More than durable enough for the rest of us.
