The Sexto V by Shadow Silencers is a multi-caliber silencer designed to be one of the most versatile and rugged on the market, it allows users to interchange baffles with two distinct baffle designs to tune the sound and airflow to the users liking, ammo choice and firearm. Three baffles have a high degree angle (one is Titanium (6AI-4V), baffle #1), and three have a low degree angle, combined with our unique blast chamber design the Sexto V is rugged, tunable, versatile and quiet. Users will have the availability to shoot .22 though 9MM as well as 223/556 rounds out of the box. In addition to these new features, all of our silencers run up to 35% cooler than competitor products. At just over 8 inches, 9.4oz (full stack) with an OD of 1 3/8 inches and made of 7075 Billet Aluminum and 6AI-4V Titanium, milspec 3 hard anodized inside and out, the Sexto V is comfortable on many types of rifle and pistol applications and durable enough for the toughest conditions.
Finishes
Milspec 3 Black Hard Anodized
The Milspec 3 finish on this may well be one of the most important features and deserves a bit more explanation. The aluminum is hard coat anodized (both inside and out), which increases wear and corrosion resistance, increases surface hardness, increases the thermal properties of the aluminum and improves the ability of the metal to retain lubricants. In other words, it changes the surface to this incredibly hard metal without increasing weight. Durable enough for our military. More than durable enough for the rest of us.
