The Sexto Family of 9mm silencers by Shadow Silencers are designed to offer the most versatile, rugged, and optioned product in its class. They allow users to chose from Pistol optimized, PCC only and multi-caliber depending on the model. Users can disassemble the complete baffle system to tune the sound and airflow to the users liking, ammo choice and firearm, not to mention ease of cleaning. Consisting of five baffles made of 7075 Aluminum and one Titanium (6AI-4V), baffle #1 for Sexto V, or six Baffles of 7075 Aluminum (Sexto P, Sexto 9), combined with our unique blast chamber design the Sexto is rugged, tunable, versatile and quiet. Users will have the availability to shoot .22 though 9MM out of the box, as well as 223/556 (Sexto V only). In addition to these new features, all of our silencers run up to 35% cooler than competitor products. At just over 8 inches, with an OD of 1.375 inches, milspec 3 hard anodized inside and out, the Sexto family is comfortable on many types of rifle and pistol applications and durable enough for the toughest conditions.
Finishes
Milspec 3 Black Hard Anodized
The Milspec 3 finish on this may well be one of the most important features and deserves a bit more explanation. The aluminum is hard coat anodized (both inside and out), which increases wear and corrosion resistance, increases surface hardness, increases the thermal properties of the aluminum and improves the ability of the metal to retain lubricants. In other words, it changes the surface to this incredibly hard metal without increasing weight. Durable enough for our military. More than durable enough for the rest of us.
